Sure, you get to see places and have new experiences. But really, the real value of traveling is finding yourself, learning more about who you are. Yeah, you know who you are, but isn’t it great when meeting a person really far away, and getting feedback from them, positively, and they see you just as the person you believe you to be? That is awesome, so different from the grocery store, pharmacy, workplace, where you see people every day, get used to just mingling. You really see your value when you travel, how people respond to you, the 5-second initial impression you make, how people see you. You know, the great Plato once said, “watch a man at play for an hour, and you learn more about him than in speaking with him for a lifetime”. (or something like that).
